Ingredients

“This is my shortcut version of a retro/vintage recipe perfect for Christmas dinner. Stained Glass Jello Salad (also called broken glass) can be served as a colorful side salad or dessert. No need to make several batches of powdered gelatin to achieve this multicolor stained glass look. I used premade gelatin cups you can find in either the refrigerator section or shelf next to the pudding cups.”

1 (.25-ounce) envelope unflavored gelatin (I used Knox)

1 cup water, divided

8 (about 3.25-ounce) snack-size flavored gelatin cups (choose multiple colors)

2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk [not evaporated], (I used Eagle Brand)
