Within each of us there is a God-shaped vacuum that only God can fill. I call it our God Spot
Without God, there is a void in our life, something missing! It’s like an unmet need that continues to gnaw at you. Until the need is met, you are 
operating from a deficit. Theologian St. Augustine said, “Man’s soul doesn’t rest until he finds peace with God.” God created us with the capacity to have a relationship with Him. And until we do, our soul is at unrest.
We seek to fill our God Spot with something other than God, but it doesn’t work. It’s like trying to put a square peg in a round hole. We try all kinds of things to fill the void; to satisfy the vacuum; yet without success. In John 10:10, Jesus said, “. . . I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” This refers to having a complete life; one that satisfies; one that is fulfilling.
Jesus is the one that can fill the “God Spot.” So in 2016, make sure you fill your God-Spot with Jesus! Let Him work through you to shine His light and spread His love.
