Prince of Peace Catholic School has a long-standing tradition for its eighth grade students to study and perform William Shakespeareā€™s plays as part of their world literature class. In seventh grade, the students learn about the life and times of Shakespeare through novels and story versions of plays and then perform the plays during their eight grade year. The productions are primarily student-led to give them an opportunity to develop their interpersonal communication and leadership skills.
