At Westminster School at Oak Mountain, students are equipped with wisdom, virtue, and eloquence to serve Christ and His kingdom. As a classical Christian school serving kindergarten through twelfth grade, Westminster partners with families to provide an education that is academically challenging, deeply rooted in Scripture, and focused on the formation of the whole child.

Every subject is taught through the lens of God’s truth, helping students see His hand in history, science, literature, mathematics, the arts, and beyond. Our students learn not only what is true, but also how to think critically, communicate clearly, and live faithfully.

Fine Arts: Our curriculum includes art and music classes weekly in grades K-12. Additional opportunities are available as electives and after school. Additionally, our Upper School theater department performs a play and musical each year.

Athletics: 79% of our Upper School students participate in Westminster athletics. Our teams include cross-country, swimming and diving, volleyball, indoor track, basketball, soccer, baseball, tennis, golf, outdoor track and field. The Class of 2026 were part of 4 state championships, 8 state runners-up, 26 area or section championships, and included an AHSAA all-star athlete
