Cheesy Sausage Potato Casserole
6-8 Russet Potatoes
1 stick butter melted
1 lb ground beef
1 lb ground turkey
4 Roger Wood Smoked Sausage links
1 16 oz Velveeta Cheese
2 cups shredded cheese
Salt, Pepper, and Crushed Pepper
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Wash and peel potatoes. Cut potatoes into quarter size slices. Boil until fork tender. You want them a little under cooked because they will cook more in the oven. Drain water from potatoes and pour melted butter over potatoes. In a skillet cook ground turkey and beef over medium heat until brown. Make sure you drain grease from meat. Add sliced sausage in a skillet and stir frequently until brown. Cut Velveeta cheese into cubes. In a baking dish add a layer of potatoes, Velveeta cheese, ground meat and shredded cheese on top, repeat this step until all ingredients are used. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until cheese is melted.
