You can also bake a premade frozen pie shell or make this a no-bake pie by choosing a 9 ounce (larger size) graham cracker crust.

1 (9-ounce) large, graham cracker crust

1 (3.4-ounce) package cheesecake or vanilla instant pudding mix

1 1/2 cups milk (whole or 2% works best)

1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup dark brown or light brown sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 (8-ounce) container Extra Creamy Cool Whip, divided

1 1/3 cups toasted and cooled chopped pecans, divided

Garnish: whole pecans (optional)
