Vestavia Global Rocket Launch

Central Alabama’s Trail Life Troops and The City of Vestavia Hills partner with the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Ala., to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission to the moon. Participants are encouraged to make, buy, or build any kind of rocket to launch. The main event will be a simultaneous model rocket launch at 7:30p.m. Also, space-themed moon bounce, rocket-themed crafts, a splash pad, playground, and food trucks, www.LaunchVestavia.com.
