On Wednesday, September 9, 2026, from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. in the Chapel, Bluff Park United Methodist Church will welcome Rev. Monica Harbarger, Executive Director of United Counseling, for a special evening for parents and caregivers. Parenting is one of life’s greatest joys and one of its biggest challenges. Many parents today are helping their children navigate stress, anxiety, big emotions, social pressures, packed schedules, and a world that can sometimes feel overwhelming. Rev. Monica will share practical insights and encouragement around children’s mental health, anxiety, emotional well-being, and ways parents can help their kids build resilience. Together, we’ll explore some of the challenges families are facing today and talk about meaningful ways to support children as they grow.
Whether your child struggles with anxiety, feels overwhelmed, is highly sensitive, faces social challenges, or is simply growing up in a complicated world, this evening will offer helpful tools, fresh perspective, and encouragement.
