Kathryn Tanner, who owns the Your Home Away From Home cabins with her husband Wendell, shares that they envision the property being used for Christian retreats, family reunions, destination weddings, and getaways. The cabins have been rented by a variety of groups each year including Christian couple’s getaways, Sunday School retreats, Christian college groups, and church youth groups. A Christian Writer’s Group, called Investive Writer’s Retreat, is already booked for April 25-28 and still has availability to join. You can call 530-392-2365 to learn more about this retreat. The Tanners have also welcomed a Women’s Mission Group called People of Praise, Cumberland Presbyterian Church groups, and missionaries on furlough.
