For a worry wart like me, this is my new favorite slogan- “What IS! NOT, What IF?” If I allow myself the opportunity to be “in” today, I find so many things to be grateful for! A wise friend recently pointed out to me that in Philippians 4:8, we are encouraged to focus on the “what is” and set aside the “what ifs.”
“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”
I hope you find this verse as much a comfort and joy as it is to me!
