Healthy Living
“As an OBYGN, I love being a part of the lives of growing families. I enjoy making an impact on people’s lives and their health through good times and bad,” explains Dr. Kathleen Ingram of Henderson & Walton Women’s Center, P.C. (HWWC).
Dr. Ingram received her Medical Degree at the University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed her residency at the University of Arkansas. Originally from Birmingham, she moved back to the Magic City to be closer to family in 2003 and joined the team at HWWC. Dr. Ingram continues to have a lifelong passion for science and medicine. “I’ve always enjoyed the sciences and the variation and excitement in the day-to-day practice of medicine,” she says.
Creating a comfortable atmosphere for patients is a priority to Dr. Ingram, and her faith impacts how she interacts with each of her patients. “I feel that adhering to basic Christian principles of kindness, empathy, and goodwill are fundamental qualities to being an effective doctor.” Dr. Ingram sees patients at HWWC’s Birmingham and Tuscaloosa locations.
For more than 30 years, Henderson & Walton Women’s Center has been specializing in women’s health care in the Birmingham and surrounding areas.
