Sylacauga Community Playhouse Production: The Miracle Worker

April 29, 2017 @ 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm

$15 – $18

In April, the SCP will present William Gibson’s The Miracle Worker.  The production tells the story of young Helen Keller, deaf and blind since infancy, who finds her way into the world of knowledge and understanding with the help of Annie Sullivan, her gifted tutor.  In some of the most emotion-packed scenes ever presented on stage, Helen overcome rage and confusion to triumph over her physical disabilities.

SCP will also be offering six school performances of The Miracle Worker that will be closed to the public.  Teachers may contact SCP for pricing, dates, and educational material.

Tickets are available for $15 advance purchase and $18 at the door.  Tickets can be purchased at www.scplayhouse.com, from a cast member, or at the Maxye Veazey Center, 2 West 8th Street, Sylacauga, Alabama.  Tickets purchased on-line will be mailed.  General inquiries and group sales can be made by calling 256.369.3003 or emailing at [email protected].

The Miracle Worker is produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc.
