The Thursday before Easter is known as Maundy Thursday, or Holy Thursday. Maundy is derived from the Latin word for “command,” and it refers to Jesus’ commandment to his disciples to “Love one another as I have loved you.” It commemorates the Last Supper, and you are invited to join us to partake in this special time of remembrance, www.canterburyumc.org.
