This is the day on which our Lord, having been betrayed, breathed his last. This is the day when our Savior walked into darkness, for us and with us. This is the day when we saw Jesus’ humanity in his humility. This is the day when we remember Christ meets us in our brokenness, joins us in despair, and is present with our pain. Hope is not lost, dear friends. This is the day, but soon, there will be another.
Please join Vestavia Hills Baptist Church for a free lunch at 11 am in the Fellowship Hall and a Good Friday service in the Sanctuary at noon.
