Browse through more than a hundred tables of fascinating gem, mineral and fossil specimens, handcrafted jewelry and decorative items from local and visiting artists and vendors at the Annual Gem Show, hosted by the Alabama Mineral and Lapidary Society on September 2-4 at the Bessemer Civic Center. Seasoned rock hounds to casual collectors, ALL are welcome! A geode cracker is on site to mechanically split whole geodes. Family friendly. Friday – Saturday: 9am – 6pm; Sunday : 10am – 4pm. $5 for adults, $3 for teens, free for ages 12 and under. For more information, email [email protected].
