Fruit Pruning Workshop

The Alabama Cooperative Extension System is hosting a free Fruit Pruning Workshop at Chilton Regional Research and Extension Center, located at 120 County Road 756, Clanton Alabama 35045. The outdoor workshop will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 from 9am-12pm. The workshop is for homeowners, professionals, and/or anyone that wants to learn how to prune, need a refresher on pruning, and/or just have questions about pruning fruit plants.
The speakers will be Dr. Elina Coneva, Professor and Extension Horticulture Specialist, Dr. Edgar Vinson, Professor and Extension Horticulture Specialist, and Nelson D. Wynn, Regional Extension Agent. The main topics will be pruning blueberries, peaches, figs, grapes, and pomegranates. To register call 205-669-6763 by Tuesday, February 22, 2022 before 4pm.
