Family Field Trip at Camp McDowell

A Field Trip for your Family to Experience the Natural World! McDowell Environmental Center and The Farm School invite you to getaway. McDowell “Family Field Trips” are a relaxing three-day experience of exploration. At McDowell, we believe that experiential education, through inquiry and self-discovery leaves long-lasting impressions and a deeper understanding of the world around you.
Activities you will get to experience:
– Raptor Program
– Meet our goats, chickens, and pigs
– Guided nature hike in our canyons, streams and sandstone formations
– Canoeing on the creek and the lake
– A “Taste” of the Farm (harvest & prepare food)
– Climbing wall, hayrides, campfires, meet our reptiles and more!
