Vulcan Community Awards 2016
Vulcan Park and Museum will recognize the Honorees of the Third Annual Vulcan Community Awards on November 3 at The Club. The awards recognize citizens who exemplify civic pride, leadership and progress within the seven-county metro area in five award categories: Lifetime Achievement, Servant Leadership, Hero, Game Changer, and Newcomer. Recipients were chosen by an independent panel of diverse citizens. The 2016 honorees include Founder of the Big Oak Ranch and Christian Family magazine contributor John Croyle who is being recognized as a community Hero. Other recipients include Odessa Woolfolk (Lifetime Achievement),Carrie Leland (Servant Leadership),Tom Cosby (Game Changer),Dr. Henna Budhwani (Newcomer),Bill Heintz and Philip Morris (Servant Leadership),Tajuan McCarty and James Strong (Hero), Dr. Jarralynne Agee and Jim Wooten (Game Changer) and Victoria Hollis and Daniel Branum (Newcomer).
