The resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead is the greatest miracle in all the earth and proves that Jesus Christ is the Son of God!” The Sounds of Music will be April 6 at 6:30 p.m. at First Baptist of Birmingham on Lakeshore Drive. The “Looking Unto Jesus” Holy Week Observance offers the community the opportunity to come together to focus on the person of Jesus. The devotional study will be led by BBA Exec. Dir. McLemore Monday through Friday of Holy Week from 11:30am-12:45pm at the BBA Building, 750 Montclair Rd. 35213. “This is the first time the BBA has sponsored an event that gives people an opportunity to come from all faith groups to worship together and celebrate the Easter event with other Christians who might be of another denomination or for those who are not a part of any denomination,” explains McLemore. A complimentary lunch will be served each day but reservations must be made since space is limited. Call 599-3245 to make your reservations.
