National Day of Prayer Breakfast at The American Village
The American Village in Montevallo is hosting a National Day of Prayer Breakfast on Thursday, May 18 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. This year’s keynote speaker will be news anchor, author and two-time breast cancer survivor Brenda Ladun, who will share about the importance of persevering during difficult times. “The tough times don’t last, especially with faith, hope and prayer,” says Ladun. “I had cancer in my body, but there are other cancers that show up in our communities — crime, unforgiveness — and what can we do about it? We can pray, and we can use our hands and feet to fight these cancers.” The National Day of Prayer Breakfast is sponsored by the Lucille Ryals Thompson Colonial Chapel Foundation and cosponsored by the American Village Citizenship Trust. To be a part of this historic event, reserve your ticket ($20 per person) today. Email [email protected] or call (205) 665-3535 x 1045 for reservations.
