Best-selling author, speaker and blogger, Angie Smith will be the featured speaker for Samford Legacy League’s 2018 Scholarship Luncheon on Thursday, February 15, 2018 in Vestavia. Angie is the wife of Todd Smith, lead singer for Christian inspirational band “Selah” and the mother of five daughters. She is the author of Seamless, I Will Carry You, Chasing God and other adult and children’s books, including Audrey Bunny (see Best Books page 14). She also writes the popular blog, Bring the Rain (www.angiesmithonline.com).
The annual scholarship luncheon is open to the public and helps make it possible for students with significant financial need and challenging circumstances to attend Samford University. The event is hosted by the Samford Legacy League which is a volunteer organization with over 750 members whose primary mission is to raise need-based scholarship funds.
