Are We There Yet!
Israel is facing many challenges in the world right now and the community of faith in the Greater Huntsville region is joining together on Sunday May 7 to declare love and support for Israel and the Jewish People. The evening will serve as a celebration of Biblical promises, Judeo-Christian values, and a shared commitment to the survival of Israel and the Jewish people. The event will be hosted by The Rock Family Worship Center in Huntsville in coordination with Eagles’ Wings, a global missional community based outside of Buffalo, NY, with hubs in the New York City area; Karlsruhe, Germany; and Jerusalem, Israel. The ministry “serves together to touch Israel and impact the nations of the world with the hope that comes from the God of love, to train the next generation of Christian leaders, and to unite and empower believers to make a positive difference in the world around them.” Eagles’ Wings Founder Dr. Robert Stearn will be a featured speaker at the event. He is the visionary behind the worldwide prayer initiative, “Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem” which is observed every year the first Sunday in October. This mass prayer mobilization has the participation of 500,000 churches in 175 nations, representing the largest prayer movement in history focused on Jerusalem. Other speakers and guests will include representatives from Israel as well as civic leaders from the region.
