Super Hero 5K Eggstravaganza

Enjoy a Super Hero 5K Run and an Easter Egg Drop while showing support for the real heroes in our community- our local police. April 15 HomeTown Lenders is hosting a Super Hero 5K and Eggstravaganza. Runners are encouraged to suit up in their favorite super hero costume or come dressed as the Easter Bunny. It all takes place at Oak Mountain State Park and event proceeds will create a scholarship fund for children of local police officers

Registration for the 5K is $30 if paid by April 14 or $35 on race day. Sign up at www.runsignup.com “Hometown Hero Superhero 5k”. The Easter Egg Hunt is $5 for kids of all ages. The fun starts at 8am with the 5K race, followed by the Egg Drop. Also come and enjoy a free kids bounce houses, face painting, and even a dunking booth. You can dunk your favorite person and the money raised goes toward the scholarship fund.

Alabama based HomeTown Lenders, whose office is right here in Birmingham, began the Super Hero 5K last fall and decided to make it a bi-annual event as a way to show ongoing support to the police officers of our community who serve us year round.
