Jesus Loves the Children
“Jesus Loves the Children” are the simple, profound words engraved into a plaque below a stained glass window. The window beautifully depicts Jesus gazing upon the children that surround Him (Matthew 19:14). It was given in memory of a child taken from this world and now in the hands of our Savior, my cousin 21 year old Timothy Kuehnert.
This time of year is filled with the excitement of celebrating the holidays with family and friends but for many it is also a time of loss- a time remembering who is missing from the celebration. I encourage you to reach out to those you know who may be struggling with a loss this Thanksgiving and Christmas. Consider inviting them to be a part of your holiday celebrations. These children of God need to feel God’s love and know His presence. They long to hear and be reminded that we will be reunited again when our Lord Jesus returns to take all of His children home to be with Him forever! (John 14: 1-3)
