Special Feature

“The law is my life,” says attorney Donna Beaulieu of Calera, Ala. Her passion for law and defending the Constitution of the United States is why she is running for Circuit Judge of Shelby County in the May 24, 2022, Republican Primary.

Donna Beaulieu Head ShotBeaulieu is a conservative who has lived in Shelby County for 30 years. She is a wife, mother, and proud new grandmother. With over 24 years of experience practicing law, Beaulieu has encountered a wide variety of cases that she believes have prepared her to be Circuit Judge. “In past cases, I have fought for the 1st Amendment, 2nd Amendment, 5th Amendment and 14th Amendment,” Beaulieu says, adding, “I believe in a strict interpretation of the U.S. Constitution and the Constitution of Alabama.” If she is elected as Circuit Judge, she says “I will do my duty to uphold the Constitution. I have a lot of experience reading the Constitution, understanding it, and applying it to cases.” Beaulieu is a believer in individual freedoms and will continue to fight to protect them. One of her past cases that she won- concerning the 1st Amendment- went to the Supreme Court of the United States.
