Hope is Alive with Shades Mountain Baptist Church

On Sunday night, December 6 at 5pm WBRC FOX television will premiere the one hour Christmas special, Hope is Alive, by the Worship Arts Ministry of Shades Mountain Baptist and special guests, Drew and Ellie Holcomb.

This musical celebration of the birth of Christ was filmed on seven stage locations including the historic Alabama Theater as well as “living room” sets created right on the campus of Shades Mountain Baptist Church. Worship Arts Pastor, Michael Adler brought musical styles and messages in all forms to this creative hour of television and with the brilliant cinematic skills of Shades Visual Arts Director, Ethan Milner, the end product should serve as a staple for Christmas.

This joy filled and touching hour will also serve as a fundraiser for local Birmingham charity, Christian Service Mission, with a goal to underwrite this year’s Christmas for Kids project.
