The Banks Academy Jets Varsity Boys Basketball team played in the ACAA State Championship game for the second time in three years. The Jets won the State Championship in 2018 and finished runner up on Saturday, February 22 2020.
During the six seniors’ last three seasons, the Jets won 61 games, averaging 20 wins per year. The Jets were led by Head Coach Chase Cornelius and Assistant Cameron Davenport. Banks Academy is a Private Christian High School in the East Lake community of Birmingham and is funded through donations, grants, AAA and tuition fees.
