Celebrate the Family Expo 2022!

We hope you will make plans to join us for the 3rd Annual Celebrate the Family Expo on May 7, 2022 at the Hoover Metropolitan Complex brought to you by Birmingham Christian Family and First Priority. Enjoy free family fun, great giveaways and much more! The event kicks off at 10 a.m. with a welcome from Hoover Mayor Frank Brocato and swag bags full of giveaways for the first 200 attendees. Entertainment will include live music performed by Kevin Derryberry of Kevin Derryberry Ministries, free 18 foot climbing wall from Mountain High Outfitters, free inflatables, free face painting from Painted Personalities, and lots of dancing and photo opportunities with Minions and lots of dancing and photo opportunities with the Chick-fil-A Herd of Cows milling through the crowd with gift cards and plush stuffed cows. Plus, special choir performances including the Banks Academy Tension Choir and Pulse Instrumental Ensemble! Food vendors at the event include delicious Street Bowlz, Krazy Good BBQ, and Steel City Pops.

Sozo Children’s Stuff the Truck will be onsite accepting donations. They accept gently used clothing, shoes, accessories, household items, and furniture. They do not accept metal desks, pianos, pool tables, large appliances, mattresses, hospital beds, construction materials, box TVs, or furniture with visible holes or stains. Your donations will assist Sozo in their mission of helping at risk children in Uganda become strong leaders for Christ who will have a positive impact on the next generation of Ugandan society.
