# Tips & Tricks from Home Experts at the Birmingham Home Show

Right on time to help keep any 2025 home improvement resolutions, the Birmingham Home Show returns to The BJCC from [February 21-23, 2025](https://birminghamchristian.com/event/birmingham-home-show-9/), with a roster of more than 175 local home experts and an array of inspirational features specifically crafted to meet the home-improvement needs of Magic City residents.

On the popular show, the high-energy duo is known for transforming one tough-to-sell home after another. They will share behind-the-scenes secrets and their favorite home reno tips on the Fresh Ideas Stage on Friday, February 21, 2025 at 5 p.m. and Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 1 p.m. Other show highlights include:

**For the Foodies.** All three days of the show, Birmingham’s most talented chefs will demo recipes on the Hometown Flavor Cooking Stage. Samples are provided for audience guests. Be sure to stop in to see BCF contributor and author of *Happiness is Homemade Y’all*, Danna Standridge on the stage Saturday at 2:30 p.m.

**Tour A Container Home.** In a new feature area, Custom Container Living will have one of their full-sized and fully customized container homes available for attendees to tour.

Check out the Fresh Ideas Stage schedule for a vibrant roster of 30-minute-long educational presentations from local experts on topics from home organization to plant care to how to file a home insurance claim.

**DIY For Small Fries.** One of the show’s new features is the Lowes Kids DIY Workshops. Pint-sized DIYers can create a project to take home at one of the workshops, happening on the hour Saturday and Sunday from Noon-3 p.m. (spots available on a first-come, first served basis).

“This event is carefully planned to resonate with the Birmingham market. This area continues to flourish, and our event is designed to meet the consumer wherever they are in the process of home improvement. We bring Birmingham’s leading experts all under one roof for guests to discuss their home projects and find the best deal,” said Mari Franco, Show Manager with Marketplace Events.

All active military personnel, veterans, police, fire, and first responders with a valid ID can attend the show free of charge any day of the event. Teachers and faculty staff with a valid ID at box office, can attend the show free of charge on Sunday. Seniors aged 60+ can get a special discounted $7 admission at the box office with valid ID on Friday. Show hours are Friday 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m.- 8 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. Tickets at the box office are $11 for adults age 13+, $3 for children ages 6-12 and free for children age 5 and under.
