McElwain Christian Academy

School Guide McElwain Student image 2 Feb 19 BCF

At McElwain Christian Academy, a K – 6th grade school established in 2007, the purpose behind the school is to provide quality academic instruction with a Biblical perspective in a Christian environment. The vision is to see children succeed academically while growing in godliness.

A parent of a currently enrolled student commented on the atmosphere of MCA by saying, “I have seen the teachers tackle child-specific learning needs without separating or stigmatizing that child.  This happens at MCA because the teachers have small classes and can customize their plans for each child, whether gifted and moving ahead of their classmates, or struggling in a particular area and needing some additional time and support…” H, a former student, said about her experience, “I was well prepared for the social and academic transition ahead. McElwain was more than a place to learn. What I cherish the most is the strength in my faith I gained while at McElwain”.
