Oftentimes, the stories we hold involve pain and deep wounds. I find it a great privilege to sit with other image bearers to support them from a place of empathy, curiosity, and respect for each person’s unique story.” During his internship, Jones hopes to grow in his capacity to support people well. “I believe we were created to flourish, not just survive. I pray that this next season will be an opportunity to absorb wisdom from the Still Waters team, honor the clients who demonstrate significant courage by walking through the counseling office doors, and learn skills that I can integrate in my practice as a therapist in training.”
