SUMMARY:Chelsea Fest & The Big KaBoom!
DESCRIPTION:The city of Chelsea will host the annual ChelseaFest and the Big KABOOM. This is the city’s largest event of the year. It will take place on Saturday\, July 2nd beginning at 5 pm. The event will be kicked off by the Yankee Doodle Dandy Children’s Parade. Children are invited to decorate their bicycles\, tricycles\, scooters and wagons and parade down Chelsea Corners Way. \nThere will be a variety of food trucks in attendance. There will be tents\, tables and chairs near the food truck area. You can also bring blankets and make it a picnic. There will be a Kid Zone area provided by Liberty Baptist Church that will include inflatables and face painting. A Vendor Alley will be set up with local vendors and businesses. Local scout troops will lead the Pledge of Allegiance. Miss Shelby County Outstanding Teen\, Ali Mims\, will sing the National Anthem. Pastor Lamonte Taylor will lead in prayer for our city\, state and nation. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis year the entertainment for ChelseaFest begins with the local band Fake News. The main event is the band A-Town A-List out of Atlanta\, Georgia. This band covers all types of music to be enjoyed by young\, old and everyone in between. \nThe fireworks will begin promptly at 9 pm. The fireworks synchronized music will not only play at the main event but also simulcast by radio station KOOL 96.9. \nIf you love America and want to celebrate in style with good food\, good music\, good friends and an amazing firework display come on out to Chelsea on July 2nd.
