SUMMARY:School Ministries Alabama 2023 Spring Gala
DESCRIPTION:School Ministries Alabama exists to launch and maintain Bible education classes for public school students taught during the public-school day.  This is constitutionally permissible provided (i) classes are privately funded\, (ii) classes are taught off school premises\, and (iii) students have parental permission to attend.  Release of students from Alabama public schools during the school day for religious instruction is also endorsed by Alabama state law (Ala. Code Section 16-1-20.6).  Join us 6:30pm-8:00pm Tuesday\, April 25\, at Metropolitan Church in Birmingham for our Impact A Child 2023 Spring Gala to celebrate what the Lord God is doing through Bible education for Alabama public school students.  Enjoy our Giving Tree and dinner with like-minded Christians and learn about opportunities for public school students to attend Bible classes in your community.  Doors open 5:30pm and the dinner program begins at 6:35pm; go to smalabama.org/events for additional details and reservations.
