SUMMARY:Virtual Walk to End Epilepsy
DESCRIPTION:Epilepsy Foundation Alabama will be hosting their statewide “Virtual Walk to END EPILEPSY®” on Sat.\, Nov. 7 at 9:30 a.m. on Zoom. Following the Zoom presentation on Nov. 7 at 9:30 a.m.\, registrants will be encouraged to walk in support of the Epilepsy Foundation. Instead of walking in person together as a large group\, everyone will be walking virtually in their own neighborhood\, on their treadmill\, or wherever they choose on Nov. 7. Participants will have the freedom and choice to join in whatever capacity they are able. \nThe nationwide Virtual Walk to END EPILEPSY events empower the local community to affect change through care\, advocacy\, research and education. “We are excited to once again bring our Birmingham Walk to END EPILEPSY\, even if it’s virtual\, to those throughout the state of Alabama in order further engage and mobilize the community to be part of the fight to END EPILEPSY®\,” said Sara Franklin\, Executive Director\, Epilepsy Foundation Alabama. “Even though the event is online\, it strengthens our current efforts and generates funding to help families affected by epilepsy and seizures in our local community.” To sign up or for more information about the Walk to END EPILEPSY- Birmingham\, please visit www.walktoendepilepsy.org/Birmingham.
