SUMMARY:Hope for the Holidays with Community Grief Support
DESCRIPTION:Often\, after a loss\, the first holiday season can bring on a great deal of stress\, anxiety\, depression\, anger\, and sadness. To help those who are facing their first holiday as a loss survivor\, Community Grief Support (CGS) hosts four FREE “Hope for the Holidays” community workshops throughout Birmingham on Saturdays in November. \nIf you or someone you know is grieving from the loss of a loved one and is facing this 2022 holiday season\, please join us at this helpful\, informative\, and encouraging community event. \nA continental breakfast will be offered at each seminar. There will be a panel of loss survivors who will share how they have and continue to deal with holiday grief (spousal loss\, loss of adult child\, and parental loss). Bereavement care expert and counselor\, Steve Sweatt\, LPC/LMFT and clinical director at CGS will provide helpful tips on coping with holidays.
